Privacy Policy

1. What This Covers

This policy explains what information Jshotthat Photography ("Jshotthat", "I", "my") collects when you visit jshotthat.com or book a session, how it is used, and what control you have over it. It applies to this website and to the booking process. It does not cover third-party sites you reach by following a link from here.

2. Information You Give Me

When you submit a booking request, you provide your name, email address, phone number, the type of session you're interested in, your preferred date and location, and anything else you choose to write in the message field. This information is submitted through a Google Form and is stored in Google Workspace. I use it solely to respond to your inquiry, quote your session, and coordinate the shoot.

If you contact me directly by email, phone, or Instagram, I keep that correspondence so I can pick the conversation back up where it left off.

3. Information Collected Automatically

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and move through it — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring source. This data is collected by Google, is aggregated, and is not used to identify you personally. Google's own privacy policy governs its handling of that data, and its use of cookies is what makes the measurement work.

I do not sell this data, and there is no advertising network, retargeting pixel, or third-party tracker on this site beyond the analytics described here.

4. How Your Information Is Used

Booking details are used to reply to you, prepare a quote, schedule and deliver your session, and keep a record of the agreement. Analytics data is used to see which galleries and pages people actually engage with, so the site can be improved. That is the full extent of it — your information is never sold, rented, or traded.

5. Who Else Sees It

Your information is shared only with the services required to run this business: Google (Forms, Workspace, and Analytics) for booking submissions and site measurement, Vercel for website hosting, and the online gallery service used to deliver your finished images. Each of these processes data under its own terms. Information may also be disclosed if required by law.

6. Your Photographs

Photographs from your session are handled under the Terms & Conditions, not this policy — including the model release and portfolio usage described there. If you would prefer your images not be used for portfolio, website, or social media purposes, tell me in writing before your session and that will be honored at no effect to your pricing or your gallery.

7. How Long Things Are Kept

Booking correspondence and session records are kept for as long as needed to run the business and meet tax and record-keeping obligations. Delivered galleries remain available for 45 days from delivery, after which they expire. You can ask me to delete your booking information at any time.

8. Your Choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you by emailing me — I'll action it within a reasonable period. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by using your browser's cookie controls or a "Do Not Track" setting. Declining analytics has no effect on your ability to browse the site or book a session.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them. Sessions involving minors are booked and consented to by a parent or guardian.

10. Changes & Contact

This policy may be updated as the business or the tools it relies on change; the date above always reflects the current version. Questions about privacy, or requests concerning your information, can be sent to me directly and I'll get back to you.
